James Martin

James Martin made the decision to pursue a profession in high-tech business at a young age. His first full-time employment in tech was at age 13. Now he has over 40 years in tech business, with experience in various management roles within the consumer, industrial and defense technology sectors. He has always been passionate and immersed in technology business – and in recent years getting extra satisfaction of helping younger entrepreneurs realize their success in the industry.

James has also provided opportunity analysis of emerging technology and companies for VC firms over the past 20 years.

James was general manager and director with Nokia. James also served on Nokia’s New Ventures Acquisition Team and on the Nokia Intellectual Property management team.

Over the last 20 years James has been a guest speaker on several emerging technologies, IoT wireless, Last-Mile Technologies and Smarthome.
